Opportunity Partners’ award-winning Engage with My Community program offers small group day support services focused on community inclusion.
- Support staff pick you up from your home and assist you throughout a fun-filled day, engaging in activities you choose.
- You help plan your service day, which may include visits to local libraries, sporting events, movies, fitness activities, and volunteering.
- Enjoy large group activities and meet new friends when multiple smaller groups come together for meet-ups throughout the metro area.
- Activities might include volunteering at Feed My Starving Children, attending a Minnesota Twins game, or going on community scavenger hunts.
- Every day is different as you try new experiences and discover what you enjoy most.
I like Engage With My Community because I get to be active! We explore fun places like the Plymouth Community Center, walk around the Eden Prairie Mall, and visit my favorite store, Scheels. We volunteer, go to parks when the weather is nice, and sometimes eat lunch out. My staff is kind and supportive. Being around people is my favorite part!
