Message From the CEOs

We hope you’re all enjoying winter activities and staying warm! 2025 is in full swing, and if there’s one theme emerging for the year, it’s change. One change we’re making is transitioning from a print newsletter to a digital format! This eco-friendly shift makes our newsletter more engaging and interactive, allowing you to watch videos, download articles, and share with ease— all at the click of a button!

With the new year, there will be changes ahead, but one thing remains constant—our unwavering commitment to our mission: Together, we advance the quality of life for people with disabilities. OP also remains committed to fostering an inclusive work culture where every employee’s voice is heard and the diverse perspectives that define our team are valued and respected.

As we look ahead to the coming year, we are excited about the opportunities we help create—not only for the individuals we serve but also for our dedicated staff. This includes:

  • A new artist-in-residence program that will enrich the lives of participants in our day service programs across all four locations (more details to come!)
  • Ongoing progress with our strategic plan, launched last summer
  • Our commitment to enhance person-centered support in all our services
  • Thanks to a generous donation, we will now recognize three outstanding direct care employees each year with a $2,000 award in appreciation of their dedication
  • Our 2025 Annual Gala in May—our largest fundraiser of the year—plays a vital role in sustaining our mission. The funds raised from this event strengthen the foundation that supports our services, ensuring we can continue making a meaningful impact

We are grateful for these opportunities and look forward to a meaningful year ahead!

Best,
