We asked some of our members why they think the Food Drive is important. Here is what they had to say:
“It is important to give back to people who might be homeless.” – Michelle
“Some people aren’t as fortunate as others and they deserve food just as much as we do.” – Bobby
“I think it is important because maybe people don’t have enough money to buy food.” – Meghan

It is important that we collect food so that people have enough to eat this holiday season, but we are collecting much more!
FOOD NEEDS:
• Coffee (high demand)
• Tuna (high demand)
• Oil and sugar (high demand)
• Canned fruit (high demand)
• Canned tomatoes (high demand)
• Canned chili (high demand)
• Canned chicken (high demand)
• Cream of _____ soup (high demand)
• Granola bars and healthy snacks (high demand
• Canned vegetables
• Jelly
• Baked Beans
• Meal helpers and rice side dishes
• Individual oatmeal packets
• Fruit cups
• Applesauce cups/pouches
NON-FOOD NEEDS:
• 55-gallon trash bags (high demand)
• Diapers — especially sizes 4, 5, and 6 (high demand)
• Toothpaste (high demand)
• Dish soap (high demand)
• Toilet paper (high demand)
• Gallon-sized Ziploc bags (high demand)
• Facial tissues
• Razors and shaving cream
• Baby wipes
• Paper towels
• Clorox wipes
• Incontinence products
• Bar Soap
