Twin Cities nonprofit organization Opportunity Partners announces the election of Steve Cramer, John Kelly, Rajean Moone and Ann Yekaldo to its Board of Directors. Opportunity Partners advances the quality of life for people with disabilities through employment and residential programs that serve more than 2,000 people each year.
Steve Cramer is President and CEO of the Minneapolis Downtown Council and Downtown Improvement District. Past positions have also included president and executive director of the nonprofit Project for Pride in Living, director of the Minneapolis Community Development Agency, and director of the Hennepin County Department of Housing, Community Works & Transit. Steve serves on the Metropolitan Airports Commission and the boards of Catholic Charities of St. Paul and Minneapolis, the Minneapolis Regional Chamber of Commerce and Meet Minneapolis. Steve has a BS degree in Urban Planning from the University of Tulsa and an MA in Public Affairs from the Humphrey Institute of the University of Minnesota.
John Kelly serves as Senior Vice President-Tax at UnitedHealth Group, Inc. He manages over 80 tax professionals in four countries. Prior to that, he spent 16 years with KPMG LLP in Chicago and Minneapolis, the last six as partner. He is also a board member of Wakota Life Care Center, board member of the Center for Catholic Studies at the University of St. Thomas, past board member of Catholic Charities of St. Paul and Minneapolis, and past and honorary board member of the Arc Greater Twin Cities. John earned his BS in Accounting and MS in Taxation from DePaul University and has a MA in Catholic Studies from the University of St. Thomas.
Rajean Moone, Ph.D., LNHA consults with the Minnesota Department of Human Services on disability policy including employment and housing services. He holds a BA in Psychology from the College of Saint Scholastica, an MS degree in Gerontology from Saint Cloud State University, and a PhD in Social Work from the University of Minnesota. In addition he currently holds a nursing home administrator’s license in Minnesota. At Greater Twin Cities United Way he managed the largest non-government source of disability services funding in the state.
Ann Yekaldo is president of The Private Client Group at U.S. Bank for metropolitan markets in the company’s Community Banking and Branch Delivery division. She is focused on creating, implementing and leading a new strategy to grow the company’s affluent business. She has worked at U.S. Bank for 35 years in various management capacities. Additionally, she has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to the Twin Cities community through her tireless volunteer work for local nonprofit organizations.
