Job Opportunities for People with Physical and Mental Disabilities

At Opportunity Partners, we encourage individuals to contribute meaningful work in the community by applying their talents, skills and values in the workplace. We network with a wide array of companies, allowing individuals the opportunity to gain work experience at our locations, small businesses, family-operated companies or large corporations. And for the entrepreneurial-minded who are seeking an outlet, our Supported Self-Employment program is just the answer.
Each participant is offered four employment options, and the team helps evaluate what is best suited to his or her plan. Ultimately, each individual chooses one or a combination of employment options to meet personal goals.
- Center-based production work such as packaging, assembly and kitting.
- Supported Employment Teams (SET) community jobs with an instructor working at metro area companies.
- Individual placement that find the right job for the participant’s skills, supported with coaching, skill building and evaluations.
- Supported Self-Employment provides an entrepreneurial spirit and one-on-one assistance with starting a business.
