Become an Evaluation Site

Signing on as an evaluation site means giving an individual the opportunity to get ready to take on an independent job, develop his or her work skills and work behavior, and add work experience to his or her résumé. In turn, the evaluation site employer gains a valuable worker whose wages are paid by Opportunity Partners.
Working together
Opportunity Partners’ vocational evaluator collaborates with you on the job description, sets up the dates and times for the evaluation and meets with you early on the first day to orient the volunteer to the duties and the work place. After that, having the evaluator on site means leaving you free to conduct your business without taking on the supervision of another employee. At the same time, your business becomes more productive at no cost to you.
What you can expect
Before assuming the job duties at your business, the volunteer worker is screened on his or her skills and ability to complete the tasks to be successful in the work place. Once ready, your new staff member will work side by side with his or her evaluator, completing job duties as assigned. As the volunteer is completing the work, the evaluator will be overseeing the individual’s work behaviors and skills while assessing his or her interests, abilities and challenges.
These evaluations range from two days to a month, with three to five hours scheduled each day. If you prefer, complete a trial run first to determine if this program is a good fit for your company.
