Brain Injury Services
Opportunity Partners’ award-winning brain injury program, TBI Metro Services, helps people with brain injury lead fuller, more productive lives. From learning skills to live more independently to employment training and placement, we customize services for each person to ensure success. Services include Employment, Community Integration Service (CIS) and Independent Living Skills (ILS).
Employment Services
We strive to provide community employment options to people with brain injuries whenever possible. Specialized employment services prepare people to secure and maintain competitive community employment. We provide employment preparation, job development and placement, job coaching, employer education and follow up. For individuals who require more support, we also offer Supported Employment Teams (SETs) – a group of individuals who work at a community job with a staff person to provide on-site training and support. TBI Metro Services also operates Advance Services, an in-house office-support business that trains people with brain injuries.
Community Integration Service
This community-based, structured day program for people with brain injuries encourages increased independence and social development. Recreational opportunities and social skills training are modified to each person based on needs and skill development.
Independent Living Skills
This individualized program supports people with brain injuries in their own homes. The program provides assistance and training to optimize independence and integration in the community.
